dr. skull had his guitar but couldn't get new strings for the cut ones, so his ideas went more adjectivic. together with his plastic-elastic band-mates he started composing extreme jazz, but there was no truly able musicians for the notes they saw and timbres they heard.. the good doctor grabbed a mouse and started dabbing the wonders into his paranoid computer...

oh, it seems such a blessing for the ears of people and assorted membrane of assorted races who enjoy extreme rides of consciousness-altering-aero-waves and ear-canal-twisting-drumrolls. the sparse coarsness of the saxofonic order is counterbalanced by the quickly evolving lines of bass-notes (not suitable for most stereos). unto uncharted territory, the rhythmic instrument harnessed to melodic use, we shall be brought to. and you thought what "full-on" meant..

when i received and listened to the mystical cd-r with just "no copy!" written on it a year or two ago, i was quite puzzled. all of it felt quite alien for me. but i begun to love the album, in a sense of music shaping me to love it, rather than me listening to music i already love. the cd together with "mesmerise 'em" from eccentric ectoplasm 'cordings gave me the urge to find this music a more wide-spread audience. at the same time our good friend the doctor wanted to find something to do and was leaning on becoming a boss of a label. we hooked up: he's the boss, i'm the handiman and this is the first fruit of our work.

this album was in the making for many years. it was seeded in india, goa and was given it's berth in bro-marf, finland (opposite of bor-goa). all the tracks were remixed from silence in long spurious bursts with an espresso-filled mind by yours truly, with the doctor keeping a close ear on the work. i think that within the process, i'm nearing the 100-mark of "times listened to this record" and am yet to grow bored of the tunes on it. i recommend this album whole-heartedly to any serious student of music.

yours,

pekka.
